Since the summer of 2016 we are the proud owners of Villa Magnolia. In the past, Magnolia was a hotel-restaurant and very well known by the people of Massino Visconti. It has been there for more than 100 years! In the beginning grandfather and grandmother Motta lived here with their children. After that their eldest daughter Marissa managed the hotel-restaurant for many years. After her decision to sell Magnolia, we came across “by chance”. We immediately fell in love with its great views. The rest is history….
In the spring of 2017 we have renovated the building on the outside. The roof has been completely renewed and the entire house is provided with a thermal insulation layer. Moreover, sustainability is guaranteed by the installation of 28 solar panels and 4 hot water panels. After that we transformed the 9 relatively small hotel rooms into 3 spacious guest rooms, restored the old tile floors, renovated the bathrooms and off course painted a lot. We are very proud of the final result!
